Product Introduction

S2DW V1.0/ADXL345 V2.0 is a module for 3d printer resonance compensation. It can communicate through USB, greatly simplifying wiring. Please note: The chip version is the only difference between ADXL V2.0 and S2DW. The S2DW V1.0 features the LIS2DW12TR, offering the same acceleration measurement capabilities as the ADXL345. With higher sensitivity, lower noise, and improved temperature stability, the LIS2DW12TR achieves excellent precision and consistency.

  • The board has a reserved BOOT button for easy firmware updates.
  • Reserved solder points enable users to customize wiring easily.
  • The USB port has an added ESD protection chip to prevent the MCU from being damaged by static electricity through the USB.

Assembly

Note: Avoid overtightening screws during installation to prevent damage.

Method 1:

Install on the side bracket with the dual holes (matches official spacing).

Method 2:

Use screws through the PCB and rubber ring on the heater block as shown.

After software install it has an automatic function in klipper establishing your printers shaper settings.

Super easy installation

I did input shaping with this sensor on my RatRig V-Minion. Flawless indeed! Just attach to Control board pins, bolt unit onto relevant axis, push button on KlipperScreen and save configuration. Noticeable print quality improvement even BondTech extruder does a perfect job without calibration too.

Great add-on for Klipper

This was a great add-on for my Klipper upgrade. The ADXL345 made input shaping easy and trouble free as I did not have to print parts and use a caliper to measure where the best print quality was. You connect the circuit board to the printer's motherboard or PI, connect it to the X axis and run the command and save the config when done. Repeat for the Y axis and you are done. Literally it is that easy.

I have come to trust BTT and will be using their products for upgrades to my two other printers as well.

I can not recommend this company strongly enough.
